This is actually considered decent in Australia, our internet infrastructure is terrible and won't be signifigantly upgraded till 2016 or something.

Not an expert but I imagine it is the Network card. Either way...those are some awesome numbers. The IPhone one is borderline unbelievable.

Thats from a wifi connection tho not 3g. 3g runs at about 2-4 megs with 800kb upload speed usually, ill do it real fast hold on...

I have the HTC Touch Pro 4600 running 3G on ATT...ok in NJ...horrible in PA - Verizon dominates over here (won't even bother running the test). You're a lucky man. I need a IPhone.

Yeah I am on the 12Mbps plan. They actually have an 18 and 24Mbps but what I have is plenty fast enough for what I need.
Let me get my Phone. Those G3 numbers are still impressive.
