    Nothing is going wrong. There is no weaponry involved. The asteroid already orbits a larger asteroid. The idea here is to nudge it slightly more towards the larger asteroid thus creating a closer orbit to the larger asteroid. Interesting experiment and no reason why it won’t succeed.

    It worked. Probably lots of people saying, “who cares”, but it’s the first time man has physically moved a celestial body. In case anybody is wondering there are no asteroids to be concerned about for another four years.

    Nasa needs to make itself more useful if it want's to recover the old glory, and getting tied to defense is the best way.

    there will be an asteroid at some point coming dangerously close to us. it has to happen. might be 2000 years or something but it will happen. always good to prepare.
