Haven’t made a deposit since two super bowls ago. Playing with their money eases the pressure and allows for much clearer thinking and makes it really enjoyable.
some of the bdf’s milling around here posting their sob stories/selections are like reading the sound fingernails make scratching a chalkboard….no pun intended

When it comes to this topic, I have just two rules:

    1) Never gamble with the rent money, obviously.

    But even more important...

    2) Never pay rent with the gambling money.

Without your tools you cannot ply the trade.

JJ what do you consider gambling? The way I roll people might think I live off of "Life" money from gambling. I make about 75% of my money off of trading stocks and to the un-educated in the stock trading science they would consider that gambling. Just like my NFL handicapping program pulled in about $500 last year, albeit on about $50K in action through the year so the return on investment is very low with that business. In actual job terms for life money I would say that contribution is about 25% a year. Oddly enough that takes about 65% of my time however but I think I have to do it because the mental grind of having to fall back on my money making me more money game is a little daunting when I think about it. I am starting to get to the point where I can retire from having a real job soo enough so when that happens, I'll probably be in the camp of using life money from gambling.
