well my card i use only has set amount on it that day so they aint getting 100's from me matter of fact they cant do it even if skimmed

because you have to be working for them to get cash out

now my bank debit cards thats a differnt story

i'll be sure to let the cashier use his scanner not the ones on counter so far havent been hit with skimmers easy to find on gas pumps just pull wiggle it if fake attached one it breaks off

Or you can instruct the bank to text you if there is an unfamiliar charge attempt.
Banks profile every card member, know this, and know this well, banks know where you shop, you're shopping tendencies, etc.
Red flags go up in a nanosecond if they suspect anything at all.

It's your job to tell them to text you though.

I had Fidelity suspend my card once for a charge I made and knew it was legit without them telling me they cancelled the card.
That set off a big shit storm because I didn't know what or why they did that.
And it's a pain in the ass plus.
