We run a strict CORI check. You would never pass from the things you have down with kids.

At no point did I have anything "down" with kids and CORI would not be an issue for me. CORI is the MA state criminal check and by saying this he just stated that I have crimes against kids on my record. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Anyway for those concerned/back to original topic of thread, update in status with company I am working with I started and it's cool. I'm that guy that comes into the store, checks inventory, etc.

I'd like it if it paid more but not being stuck in an environment with a coworker or two you don't like is cool. Seems like low stress as well.

Huge company and so far so good, has the feel of a good transitional spot until I can do the credit repair, get a car and the right threads to get back into mortgages the right way - probably with Wells Fargo.

I almost did AA up in State College.

I came into their poker game with a buzz, bought into their game for like $20 and left w like $250. It was their record night. They all decided they hated me after that except this one guy I talk to from time to time whom is AA and is very successful in the rental game. Awesome dude, and I do owe him money from when I was real sick and he really helped me out.

I'm getting on increasingly stronger meds for the bipolar now as well as sleep meds so serious boozing is less and less of an option anymore without risk of serious bad stuff happening. As my therapist brought up today as we get older our bodies don't heal as nicely from drunk falls etc. as well, and as I disclosed with my Mother's condition I am very motivated.

Without the job I basically had nothing to lose but now I have that and am on my way so now not screwing up really matters.

My (again, extremely hot) therapist mentioned maybe treatment as an option (she's had me in Natraxol for the cravings) and we both agreed that the true test will be when my pockets are full....do I binge and get out of control then.

If so then I'll probably AA/treatment it.

One thing that can't happen is binging with strong bipolar meds. Big no no with that combination.

Yes the homeless do indeed steal from the homeless. They watch you and get you when you finally try to get some sleep. I passed out in the subway and woke up with just about everything gone - all ids, money, cards etc.

All on top of already being on the street.

Bags of my things were stolen multiple times when just trying to catch a wink. Fuckers.

No matter what I went through I never did steal from anyone. You steal from a retail store they'll get over it....shit they a lot for pilfereage...but you steal from some down and out homeless person and there is really something wrong with you, imo.

Then again junkies just don't give a penetrate. Not only do they need a buzz, but they need to eliminate that stomach pain they get when they don't have their junk.
