I can't remember my exact list of 10(in no particular order) that i submitted.

I left out Beach Boys , The Who, Dylan, and I put zero R&B or Soul, or country in my picks.

I know I had Zep, Hendrix, Beatles, Velvet Underground, CCR, The Band, MC5, Stones, and I think the Stooges. I had Zep or Beatles twice.

    here's a cool list too.....

I'll have to revisit the movie, but I remember it being funny. Especially those music store scenes with JB being an overly pompous A-hole about vinyl records. lol

Some surprising ones didn't get the respect I though. Thought Turtles would be a little higher as well as the Zombies and CCR. Didn't notice any Mamas and Papas or Herman's Hermits on list. Great thread Louisvillekid!!

I had to look him up. I'd heard the name, but couldn't of named a song by him.

"The classic song “The Poor Side Of Town,” stands as Johnny Rivers only number one hit on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100."

For my money, Blonde on Blonde easily.

Dylan is an acquired taste, I get that, I'm a huge life long fan.

Look at the album, top to bottom.
You've got your "Rainy Day Women # 12 & 35" (Everybody Must Get Stoned)
You've got your "Stuck Inside of Mobile..."
One of the greatest ballads of all time "Just Like a Woman"
    And more.

This one is my personal favorite off the album though.

    And this one too.

The top 3 LK Was solid no problem with it. I Would have had Hendrix at 4 he brought a heavy Guitar sound and playing before anybody.Im just a huge Johnny Rivers Fan so i was surprised he was not on the list because i have his whole catalog on my ipod which i still use.Like i said earlier Mitch rider at 500 was a joke should be top 50 at least for me.But i love this stuff. My next Top 500 would be new wave but i doubt there are that many good new wave Albums!
