Amazon employee is beaten to death by 'random attacker' in posh Greenwich Village during another weekend of violence in New York that's seen more than 40 people shot

• Deshawn Bush, 36, was found unconscious outside a bagel shop on Christopher St. in Greenwich Village, Manhattan, at around 4.20am
• He was taken to the Lenox health Complex but died from his injuries
• The Amazon employee had been out with a woman and a friend when he got into an argument with an unidentified attacker
• Police are still searching for the suspect
• It comes as the city has seen an increase in violent shootings, with NYPD stats saying more than 40 have been gunned down this weekend
