    Flight costs are WAY down

Looked at international trip to Europe in the summer about a month or so ago on Google flights - was $1200-$1500 for budget seat round trip to most places in July from DC. Checked today only $600-$850

I'll take my chances against 0.001% Coronavirus catch being 25 and in great health / fitness. Think I'm going to book a trip shortly. Now just have to plan out 2 weeks worth.

If you're married to summer vacations, the prices will always be a bit higher. I am flying to London from LAX this Sunday on a ticket I bought for $347 in October. Traveling from September to March (excluding holidays) will net some fantastic prices to Europe. The hotel prices drop also in that time frame.

Taxes are as much as 50% of the cost of a plane ticket.

You didn't need corona virus to bring prices down.

Tax cuts would've done the same trick.

Download the app called Hopper. Watch flight prices fluctuate and notify you of cheapest.

Never traveled to Europe in the summer, did a spring and fall trip before. Perfect time for a summer one.
