So Mom and I were setting at the table in the trailer having fish sticks and spaghettios for lunch. After her usual "GET A JOB" we then got into a verbal fight over who was the better player. She said Dirk and I said Larry. Did she get pissed. After she dumped the spaghettios over my head she then gave her overweight dog my fish sticks and then she walked so fast to the other end of the trailer to get away from me that it felt like a earthquake. I think the dog puked up some of my fish sticks during this altercation but I can't be certain because he ate whatever he puked back up. He was looking at me licking his lips as if to say to me "boy were your fish sticks delicious". Worst of all I lost my funding for the holidays.

I'm just passing this along as a lesson learned. Don't fight with your family especially during the holidays. Always agree with them even if their wrong. Keep the peace.

As a side note, I went outside and because of her anger she caused the back end of the trailer to slide off the bricks and now the trailer is way off level. This explains the earthquake. I thought it was because she is slightly overweight and walking rather briskly. Damn, I wish I would have said Dirk too.

Just wanted to update that there was a happy ending to a rocky start to this Holdiay season. We had the rest of the family over on Christmas Eve and served mystery pot roast. Mom usually drives on this road that goes through a wooded area and there are all kinds of wild animals that either have been run over or she runs over that she cleans and dresses and puts in a crock pot with potatoes and carrots. We prefer she runs over them so we know its fresh because she isn't real good at judging how long the critter has been dead. If she guesses wrong Christmas Day ain't fun. We have a fun game after lunch to allow folks to guess the critter they just ate. I haven't heard the results yet but fun was had by all.

Anyway the family came over and before lunch we had all the morbidly obese ones go to one end of the trailer so the trailer would raise on the end where the bricks slipped out. Success, it is level now. Also, Cousin Rufus and Cousin Elmer dug us out a new and deeper hole and moved the portable outhouse over the new hole so we are good. The old one was getting so full that when you would go in to do your business you would have feces on your shoes and track it back in the trailer. Rufus did slip in the old hole while they were covering it up but he went down to the creek to get cleaned up.

Overall a nice day had by all. The only incident was when Aunt Jean came up to me and said "only idiots choose Larry over Dirk" and then kicked me in the groin. Very minor incident because I don't need them anymore.

Good things can come from these family get togethers. Just stay calm, smile, agree with everyone and just enjoy the day. Merry Christmas to all.

By the way the Saloon Moderator looks a lot like Cousin Elmer and Elmer is real popular with the ladies down here. I think it's mostly cause he has most of his teeth but he says it's cause of his looks. I know the Saloon Moderator hates Indiana folks but he could become the next Hugh Hefner here if he could look past some rather "plump" ladies. Their pretty on the inside. Plus there is lots of grass here to mow too and sportsbook (online and brick & mortar) all over the place for his gambling habits.

He seems sad lately so I'm just trying to help the guy out.
