I agree with everything you're saying except for the part about not approaching them, I think approaching them shows initiative, but you have to do it in a playful confident way or else you just come off as creepy and desperate.

I agree with the number 2 point. Unfortunately, very true. So, women will continue to act like self entitled rude oysters, because they are fully aware they can get away with it, and because there is a lot of men who would lower themselves to very sad low levels, in order to get a little attention from a random woman.
