WATCH: Georgia Cop Attacks and Arrests Man while Recording in Public

Marcus Coleman is refusing to remain silent about the Georgia cop who attacked and arrested him while recording.

It's been more than a month since a Georgia man was attacked and handcuffed by a cop for asking a simple question while recording and so far no action has been taken to discipline the cop even though it's been almost two weeks since the investigation has been completed.

But the victim, Marcus Coleman, who happens to be a police accountability activist, is on a mission to get him fired and charged.

South Fulton police officer Solomon Muhammad, meanwhile, remains on paid administrative leave since the January 29 incident, awaiting the results of the investigation.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation told local media this week that is wrapped up its investigation last month and forwarded its findings to the Fulton County District Attorney who is supposed to make a decision as to whether Muhammad committed a crime.

The video shows the cop attacked Coleman simply because he was annoyed that the activist was questioning why he was not directing traffic following a traffic collision. Coleman also threatened to contact the police chief over the cop not directing traffic which is when the cop chased after him and arrested him.

The cop also held his taser against Coleman's chest, threatening to taser him. Coleman was handcuffed and forced to sit in the back of a cop car for more than 40 minutes until a supervisor released him with no charges.

    According to Fox 5:

"Marcus Coleman is calling on Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis to file criminal charges against South Fulton police officer Solomon Muhammad saying he should feel the extent of the law he was supposed to protect, serve and uphold.

"He needs to be fired. His POST certification needs to be snatched, revoked. He needs to be charged. He needs to be convicted and sentenced properly, and then he needs to be made an example of for the citizens in our new city of South Fulton, what we will not tolerate," the community activist told FOX 5.

"Cpl. Solomon Muhammad put a Taser to this brother's chest in complete violation of operating procedures. Placed it above his heart just for asking a question, just for making a statement that he was going to speak to his superior officer," said Coleman's attorney, J. Edward Shipp."

    According to 11 Alive:

"The disparities over policing. People are tired, man," he said, Tuesday. "People are tired of getting harassed because of the color of their skin. People are tired of getting harassed because of the police culture, whether it's a white officer, Black officer, pink officer, fuchsia. We want them to uphold their oath to protect and serve."

The Fulton County District Attorney's office have not responded to inquiries from local media about when it plans to announce its decision even though it received the GBI's report almost two weeks ago on February 22.

***EDIT: After this investigation aired, the Texas Medical Center PD was removed from TCOLE's list of violators. TCOLE told me it found a technical glitch kicked TMC's submission out of the system. The TMC chief submitted his department's report in January, well before the deadline and will not face license action, according to TCOLE.***

In January, our investigation into Texas' oversight of its racial profiling enforcement found one thing: there was no oversight. State law requires every law enforcement agency to file raw traffic stop data AND a comparative analysis of those traffic stops.

Guess how many analyses the state had on file in the past 10 years? Zero.

Guess how many police chiefs, sheriffs, and constables were disciplined over this? Zero.

The Texas Commission on Law Enforcement set out to fix its failed and broken system the day after I interviewed the TCOLE director in December. The director kept his word and more than a dozen chiefs, sheriffs, and constables are facing disciplinary action today.

Good Cop Predicts His Video Exposing Crimes in Dept Will Get Him Attacked—He Was Right

Holyoke, MA — Those who are paying attention to the ever-expanding police state in the land of the free know that the system is set up in such a way that it protects bad cops while punishing the good ones. The following example of Holyoke Police Officer Rafael Roca calling out corruption in his department and being immediately suspended for it, proves this point perfectly.

Roca took to YouTube this week to expose outright criminal activity throughout his department starting with Holyoke Police Chief Manny Febo, who Roca called a “dirty cop.”

In the video, which is 43 minutes long, Roca made multiple accusations including missing guns, racial discrimination, covering up criminal activity in the department, including “cops beating their wives,” and asked for an investigation by the FBI.

“I talk to citizens. I talk to retired Holyoke police officers. They all say the Holyoke police department has been corrupt for as long as they can remember … as long as anyone can remember,” said Roca.

In the video, Roca said he’s had a target on his back since he called out corruption back in 2016 during a DUI stop. During the stop, Holyoke Police Sgt. Jorge Monsalve opted not to arrest the person driving drunk — a Holyoke Fire Department lieutenant — and drove him home instead. While this type of discretion is often warranted, it’s what happened next that made Roca question the integrity of his fellow brothers in blue.

After Monsalve brought the lieutenant home, Roca later spotted the man speeding by in the car he agreed to leave behind. The firefighter then led police on a high speed chase, blowing through a stop sign and endangering everyone on the road. When he was finally stopped, the fire lieutenant was not arrested nor charged with a crime.

Nothing happened to the officers who witnessed the crimes and failed to act.

According to a report from MassLive, the other allegations are as follows:

"Roca’s video vaguely references overtime abuse, nepotism and favoritism within the department, calling out to supervisors — though not by name — who lied about lost or stolen police-issued weapons.

One occurred in 2011, in a case in which Sgt. John P. Hart was suspended for five days and ordered to pay the department $2,000. Police said the weapon and its ammo were in a plastic case that slid out of the back of his pickup truck.

Police later found the weapon thanks to an anonymous tipster who found it in an alley while Mayor Alex B. Morse was doing a ride-along in a cruiser. But in his video, Roca claims the gun was stolen from Hart’s home while his son was hosting a party. Roca claims the tipster had been arrested and knew where the rifle was, offering to recover it in exchange for consideration in court.

“So then they ‘found’ the rifle … BS, BS, BS,” said Roca, who frequently rifled through notes he made for the video.

He also told viewers of another, unnamed police officer who had “guns and equipment” stolen along with his car. The car was recovered, the guns and equipment were not, according to Roca."

After posting the video, the department demanded Roca pull it down. A police captain called Roca the day after he posted it to make the demand.

“He said: ‘The chief saw your video and he’s ordering you to take it down,’” Roca recounted. “I said I’m sorry but, respectfully, I refuse to take it down.”

That was on Sunday. On Monday, Roca was suspended for violating the department’s social media policy, which bars officers from criticizing the department on social media platforms.

“Yeah they didn’t waste any time. They took my gun and my badge and kicked me out of the email system,” Roca said during an interview with MassLive on Monday. “I’ll probably lose my job, but I’m good. I stand behind the video and what I said in it.”

Roca explained the union and the chief are both demanding he resign by Thursday and “this would all go away,” he said. But Roca has no such plans.

“It would be just like I was never a police officer at all,” Roca said. “There’s no way I’m going to resign.”

When contacted for a comment, the chief released the following canned statement.

“The Holyoke Police Department is aware of the video posted by one of our officers. This is a personnel matter that is being looked into at this time. I stand by the integrity of the men and women of the Holyoke Police Department and I welcome any outside agency that would like to look into any of the alleged allegations from the video,” said the chief.

The FBI could neither confirm nor deny whether or not they are looking into Roca’s accusations.

Salisbury officer arrested after alleged assault, breaking and entering

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - A Salisbury police officer is facing a felony after he allegedly broke into a home and assaulted two individuals.

According to warrants obtained by WBTV, officer Malik Byrd. 23, from Huntersville, broke into a home off Wilcoy Road in Rockwell around 11:30 p.m. Saturday with the intention of hurting one person. Officers said Byrd and his cousin assaulted one man, punching him in the head and chest.

The warrants also report Byrd grabbed a woman by the arm, pulling and pushing her. They also say he grabbed the woman’s cell phone out of her hand when she was trying to call 911.

He was off-duty during the incident.

Byrd turned himself in Sunday and was charged by the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office with felony breaking and entering, one count of simple assault, one count of assault on a female, and one count of interfering with calling 911.

He was hired by the department in 2018 and is now on administrative leave with pay.

“Officer Byrd’s recent arrest and a previous incident involving another officer are two isolated incidents which in no way reflects the character of the men and women of the Salisbury Police Department,” the department wrote in a media release.

‘Superstar Top Cop’ Arrested After 13yo Girl Filmed Him Attempting to Rape Her

Euclid, OH — Tensions between police and citizens in Euclid, Ohio have come to a head in recent years after police killed an unarmed 23-year-old man over a marijuana roach, officers were seen on video pulverizing another man over a suspended license, beating the hell out of an innocent man after mistaking his colostomy bag for a weapon, humiliating an innocent woman by assaulting her after she’d just gotten out of the shower, then dragging her from her apartment and refusing to let her put on clothes as they kidnapped her, and pepper spraying a children’s party.

Now, they are in the news once more, this time for the arrest of one of their own. Euclid police officer Donald Ivory, 47, was arrested this month on multiple child sex crimes over the attempted rape of a 13-year-old child.

Evidence of the crime was captured on the girl’s phone and Ivory apparently knew this, so he threatened to bring her to jail if she didn’t hand it over.

“After the assault occurred and became known, he (Ivory) threatened to take her to the juvenile detention center if she did not give up her phone which contained evidence,” a spokesperson for the Cuyahoga Co. Prosecutor’s Office spokesperson wrote.

The prosecutor’s office explained that the girl contacted the Euclid Police Department to file a report last November alleging Ivory assaulted her in the bedroom of his Euclid residence while off-duty between August 15 and August 31, 2020.

Cleveland.com reports, Euclid Police Capt. Mitch Houser said in a news release that Chief Scott Meyer placed Ivory on paid leave while a detective investigated the girl’s complaint. The detective presented the results of the investigation to a grand jury, the release said. The release said that Ivory will be placed on unpaid leave as the case moves through the court.

“This indictment sends the message that no one is above the law,” Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Michael O’Malley said in a statement. “It is our obligation to protect the children of this community and to hold accountable those who prey upon them.”

These words ring hollow, however, given Ivory’s past. In 2018, this public servant was fired following multiple instances and charges of domestic violence. He was found guilty and a judge sentenced him to probation that included alcohol screening and domestic violence counseling, according to court records.

The victim told the court she was “assaulted, bitten and choked” by Ivory during the incident. However, because it is often their duty to make sure women-beating, child raping cops stay on the payroll, the union representing Euclid police officers filed a grievance and an arbitrator in January 2019 ordered the city to rehire Ivory.

What’s more, prior to the arrest in 2018, Ivory was accused of domestic violence and assault on July 17, 2017 and August 6, 2017 in relation to two incidents involving a different woman. The city said Ivory admitted to slapping the victim four to five times. Yet still, the union fought tooth and nail to keep this cop on the force, and were successful.

According to News 5, in the grievance filed over his dismissal, the union claimed the city did not give “proper consideration” to Ivory’s work history, which includes 43 pages of commendations. Ivory was even called a “superstar” in a handwritten note from the chief, according to his appeal. Ivory was also named one of 25 recipients of the “Top Cop” award at the Mothers Against Drunk Driving 2016 Law Enforcement Recognition Event, which recognizes officers for their “superior efforts in OVI arrests,” according to the police department’s web site.

Imagine being the police union who would fight to reinstate this man. Do you think the union will defend him now that a 13-year-old girl filmed him attempting to rape her? It would not be surprising.

Ivory has since been charged with one count of attempted rape, three counts of gross sexual imposition, one count of disseminating matter harmful to juveniles, one count of tampering with evidence and one count of intimidation of a victim. He is scheduled to be arraigned in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court on March 24.

Cops Jailed for Conspiracy with Mexican Drug Cartel, Trafficking Kilos of Meth and Cocaine

Columbia, SC — As John Dalberg-Acton famously stated, “Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men…” When society grants authority to people — who are prone to corruption — many times, these people will use this authority to enrich themselves and violate the laws of the system that grants them their power. Because of the war on drugs, bad cops are put into positions all the time that allow them to make money breaking laws which they will arrest others for violating.

Three of these bad cops have been held accountable for using their power for corruption and were sentenced this week for their roles in drug conspiracies.

According to the Department of Justice, three former deputies with the Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office – Carolyn Colter Franklin, 64; Allan Hunter, 52; and Nathaniel Miller Shazier, III, 29 – all from Orangeburg County, were sentenced to multi-year sentences in federal prison for using their positions as law enforcement officers to conspire with who they believed to be members of a Mexican drug cartel.

Franklin and Hunter faced additional sentencing on federal charges for their role in a fake U-**** conspiracy in which they took bribes to provide cartel members with fraudulent documents.

“Those sentenced were trusted by their communities to serve and protect,” said Susan Ferensic, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Special Agent in Charge. “Instead, while still wearing a badge, they decided to work on behalf of a drug cartel and facilitate the distribution of illegal drugs. Keeping to the FBI’s mission, we aggressively pursued this investigation bringing together dedicated Agents and an array of resources to root out corrupt law enforcement officers who dishonor the profession. The FBI is committed to ensuring law enforcement maintains the trust of the public it serves by never ceasing to pursue the corrupt.”

According to the FBI, during an undercover operation the three disgraced deputies agreed to protect trucks containing what they believed were drug proceeds derived from narcotics distribution by members of a Mexican drug cartel drug ring.

    According to the DOJ release:

"Evidence presented to the Court showed that, during an undercover operation conducted by the FBI between December 2018 and March 2019, Franklin, Hunter, and Shazier agreed to help protect trucks containing what they believed were drug proceeds derived from narcotics distribution by members of a Mexican drug cartel drug ring. The members were actually undercover FBI agents. Additionally, the three agreed to help protect trucks containing kilogram quantities of methamphetamine and cocaine in the future.

Evidence presented in court also showed that, between February 2018 and March 2019, in exchange for bribes, Franklin and Hunter created fraudulent documents for non-immigrants. Specifically, the documents were designed to help the immigrants achieve U non-immigrant status, which, by statute, is reserved for victims of certain crimes who have suffered mental or physical abuse and are helpful to law enforcement in the investigation or prosecution of criminal activity."

Senior United States District Judge Joseph F. Anderson, Jr. sentenced Franklin to 61 months in federal prison, Hunter to 63 months in federal prison, and Shazier to 46 months in federal prison. Each defendant’s sentence will be followed by 36 months of supervised release.

“These sentences highlight that no one is above the law,” said Acting U.S. Attorney M. Rhett DeHart. “Anyone brazen enough to conspire with cartels to commit crimes, especially those placed in public trust, will be met with the full force of the federal government.”

It is important to point out that America’s war on drugs is what created this entire scenario. If drugs were legal, there would be no cartel smuggling cocaine and meth and the temptation from bad cops to help the cartels traffic it, would be non-existent.

Luckily, people are beginning to realize this and last November’s election results in Oregon prove it. Oregon made a massive leap forward in destroying the war on drugs by becoming the first state in history to decriminalize ALL DRUGS. Once other states see the positive benefits from this move, it will undoubtedly begin to spread and the DEA will become the dinosaur agency it should have become decades ago.
