Wow. Just too much temptation. Like how I eat all my fries in the car ride home before even opening the burger.

Grub hub, doordash and all those other internet delivery service do not split their tips with the places you order from.

Take it from me, a guy who works in these restaurants that watch how angry at how these to go people who get boiling mad at an overwhelming number of orders and receive nothing from them.
You're better off picking up your own food at the restaurants you order from, and leaving them a tip.

Ubereats down here has big paper sacks that are stapled closed at the restaurant.

I received an order not stapled closed recently, reported it, and was sent a full refund. Even drinks are inside a sealed bag.

Why would we leave a tip when we're picking up our food? Doesn't the food price include someone putting it in a damn bag for us?

Should we tip the person putting our food in the bag at the grocery check out lane?

Honestly, there are several people who don't even deserve a tip... it's like they expect one.

Excellent way to treat the industry in my opinion.

In the US, we often, but not always, wait for some major tragedy, then realize we should have safeguards in place.

Never order food to me delivered. Who knows what you may end up getting. There is some real gross crap out there. One driver got caught buying a cheaper sandwich and swapping it for the exact same type of sandwich at a much higher price. He just swapped the wrappers.

tellers at racetracks who do absolutely nothing to deserve a tip but want you to leave the change and tip if you win big. they don't give discounts when you lose. tellers are obsolete anyway. just go in with your phone and bet on your
adw account. tracks doesn't make a nickel off you directly anyway.

    Good to know.

So if I want to be an Uber Eats driver I need to keep a staple remover and a stapler in the car, so I don't go hungry while delivering mine and other people's food around town.

Ain't no way I'm not grabbing a McDonalds fry or three. Or four.
    Thanks Opti.

Wrong. If you wager on a site that pays track odds (such as TVG) the track takes it's cut the second your wager is placed. Just like at the track.

the track gets less from ADW's than if you bet it for real at the track. especially on tracks they are simulcasting. 4% on straight wagers 7% on exotics is the average cut. so they want you playing at their machines or tellers but can't enforce it other than shutting off wi-fi. some do.

Funny, once upon a time, the bagboy did get tipped.
Grocery store, once upon a time, could afford a bagboy. Bagboy got tips. Often would get a quarter to whatever coins were returned. Of course, most transactions nowadays are ************ so that made that job obsolete.

Money, you make enough money you can leave the to go people a buck or two.
They dont make a lot, but they can use an extra 25-50 bucks for properly bagging your food.

Look, I dont make the rules, that's just the way it is. Like it or not.

I get along pretty well in this town(Las Vegas), because I can throw the dollar or five dollar bill at the right times. You don't have to, but I do it. IMHO

if u tip door dash or grub hub the driver gets 100% of the tip

have no idea what "splitting" u are talking about the restaurant isnt factored into the order in any way

if u get stiffed its by the customer not the restaurant
