You have to have rocks in your head.....

If you live with in California.
You’ve got record breaking earth quakes, wild fires, mud slides.......

No thanks I’ll take my chances on the East Coast with a hurricane.

Many years ago I think it was the governor of California took a shot at Florida stating people are crazy to live there with the Hurricanes.

Florida's governor responded that at least we get advance notice/warning of hurricanes, unlike your Earthquake's.

Everywhere has things that make it shitty. Not everywhere has things that make it great. Way worse out there than Cali.

Yeah I know, murder in Chicago, poverty in Detroit, tornadoes in Oklahoma and Kansas, hurricanes in the northeast out of the Atlantic, just seems like Cali has it all including LA smog and traffic delays that’ll drive you nuts.

There is a secret to living in California. The trick is to "live" there but not officially "reside" there. If you can, pick a state with very low vehicle registration taxes and no personal income taxes and make that state your "residence". You can also incorporate in that state. Bad enough that you have to put up with ridiculous gasoline taxes and sales taxes in California. Do everything you can to rid yourself of any other tax you may have to pay down the line.

You forgot about all of California's Fruits and Nuts.
And I'm NOT talking Almonds and Apricots.

Yeah, but in Cali, we're just one bounce away from the record...

One good thing about Detroit, Michigan... you get the 4 seasons... and nothing really crazy happens here.

The bluffs down by LaCrosse might be the best kept secret in America. Great spot for summer

To an extent, Chicago has wind and sub zero nut cracking temps.
i know a woman from Blue Springs Missouri that tells me the extremes of the four seasons are incredible. She feels me about the on field temps at the ‘K in Kansas City reach 110 in July and the temps at Arrow Head late in the season that plummet to negative zero. But out there it’s mainly good living however as a Royals fan I’d blow my head off if I was subject to that team 162 times instead of the 30 or so games I catch here in New England.

But apparently not cold enough to stop fools from attacking and you with bleach and a noose for your subway sandwich.
