Lakers favourites to win in 2020?

    https://www.espn.com/chalk/story/_/i...9-20-favorites

seems bizarre to me. clippers too are heavily bet.

are those unbiased odds or is just that that is who people bet significant $$$$$ on so give them terrible odds.

i understand that those odds assume AD to Lakers, but that would decimate their nucleus of promising young players. can the lakers get another top NBA player (in addition to AD) in free agency?

If Davis goes to the Lakers and they add another big name free agent it makes sense, Lebron should actually be in shape this year.

He's saying it deserves to be in the Players Talk forum. It's a legitimate question to share.

Certainly players lounge worthy. Mods fix this shiit!!! On this day this thread has been treated with NOOOO RESPECT!!

Lakers need alot more then Davis fellas. That would be a good start though...

Again Lebron isn't a spring chicken anymore, chances are he blows out something like Thompson and KD just did and is rehab for most of the season next year.

Kind of stupid to get on teams before Free Agency.

Even Lebron and AD won’t be enough. The Lakers will need two big FAs.

sorry, i may have sounded too sarcastic. it was a serious question. i guess i went too comedic on my phrasing.. but i honestly have ZERO IDEA what saloon and players talk are supposed to represent. i have never given it the least thought. other than i suppose "anything goes" (within reason) in the saloon.

one thing that really helps the lakers is having the 5th overall pick (i.e. having had a poor season). they can make that the anchor for any AD deal. would be nice to hold on to 2 of ingram/ball/kuzma.

if memory serves me correctly, the dream was to get two superstars this summer (i could be wrong). but not sure there is an obvious 2nd player they could sign.

Vegas knew about the AD trade to LA so makes a little more sense, but still don’t feel like they are now the favs in my dubious opinion.
