Wish he called you too man. Don’t know the situation but as much as you were there for him, and would have been, he may not have thought or knew he had anyone to call. Or he just didn’t wanna burden anyone. Mind lies to you. To fight against every last instinct in the body and do it isn’t cowardly or selfish to me. My dad did it and I’ll never be mad at him about it, feel like he took the easy way out, that it was unfair to me in any way, or any of the shit spewed when people off themselves. it sucks, this dude named Steve was a friend of my dads (and me as well) is who got me into sports
he was shot like close to 10 times with a ak-47 , fell down stairs and rolled out a door to survive
he sued the guy who tried to kill him and got a bunch of money. So he had satellite and all the sports channels
wayyyyyyyyyyy before everyone else had it. Remember going over there to his house with my pops
at age 12 . My dad being young, Steve(guy who killed himself) being young.
Everyone happy, watching sports for hours without a care in the world
Found out he just killed himself a few days ago . He was suffering, had a lot of shit wrong
blew his brains out. Just guts you, cuz you want things to go back, to where Steve was fine
Parents were younger,before I ever started to fukk up and go to prison , didnt have a care in the world
See, this is what fukks me up about life, is death, im not afraid of anything else.
Not even my own death , I fear others dying,and it has shown me what true fear really is
Breaks my heart to think of Steve sitting there on his couch so hurt and depressed knowing hes about to blow
his brains out, as I can remember talking to him (thinkin how cool he was for surviving the shit he did with the AK-47)
and him being on the same couch in the same house.... over and over I keep picturing this.... I dont like shit to end

I hear ya. Ain’t no winners in this game. I’m down to keep going so my mom doesn’t suffer, but I’m lucky to still be able to think somewhat rationally when I take a step back. It wanes at times, as it starts to feel like there’s no other option. Doing more bad than good being around.

The mind is a sick bastard. Tough to realize the negatives you’re imparting on others right now alive is cake compared to what it will be when you’re gone. Hard to come to this realization when you’re not in your right mind. It starts to feel like it will be a selfless act. Doing everyone a favor. Shit is just way more complicated than just all suicide is selfish.

That’s just a bit from my mind. No telling what is going on for anyone else. Can only hope that the moment passes and they reach out for help. Cause in any moment it just may get that bad where they’re able to defeat the survival instincts. Which is damn hard to do.
