What stops people from using rock anchors to climb the wall from the Mexico side? They can be inserted very easily into flat concrete.

The wall needs to have spikes, glass, and grease between and barb wire at the top to be a deterrent.

The USA at the turn of the 20th century wasn't a wellfare state nor did it pander towards non conformist. Today's immigrants do not conform, do not wish to become Americans, they come to get assistance, earn money (illegally) and continue with their cultural identity as foreign.

Also, millions were both sent back or put in infirmary at Ellis due to health. But the fact us everyone who came thru Ellis knew they were going to work...even the kids. The millionxthat come thru Mexico know they just need to 1- get themselves into the court system and 2- get the kid into a school, and then they won't have to work because there are people like DeBlasio who just took $500,000,000 from legal NYC taxpayers to give illegals healthcare and Newsome who just scaled back law enforcement for his citizens to encourage illegals to settle in California which can't even take care of it's own homeless and drug addicts.

It really boils down to math...not emotion

Can a country with a minority of wage earners (40% roughly of US population works and does not receive a government subsidy (Forbes 2014), 60% receive a government check- some portion of that 60% does work in a reduced capacity) support a Federal bureaucracy, the retirement and lifestyle of said bureaucracy, and the health and maintenance of 25,000,000 individuals who don't even have the right to be here....

Basically...can 140 million people work to support themselves and the political ideology of of an additional 170 million people. I think we all know the answer and we all know how it will end. It's not political, emotional or racial...it's math.

Even though a wall isnt perfect and you cannot stop all illegal immigration, it does help a lot.
Especially the new fence Trump wants, its very high and not easy to climb over (or under).
You also gotta be real careful climbing the thing, because if you slip and fall you could easily break your neck

Immigration reform and walls should be the priority.. Trump is right on this.. Democrats are resisting just to resist as they know the importance of border security and a physical barrier..

It's just so logical and comical at the same time this debate, it's just common sense.. You secure your home you build a tall fence to keep people out, you secure a Country you build border Wall to keep out the unknown and undetected threats out..
