Just cut the Cable got Hulu live and Have Netflix

Paying too much 150-200 month for DirecTV 5 rooms. This keeps my Bill down to under 70 with DVR and multi room. Lots of sports channels.I will end up getting a blue box by next NFL season to see every game but for now this is Great.

I’ve been thinking about doing this. Currently have Spectrum and have been considering cutting the cable and going with YouTube TV. The only thing that stops me from doing it is I believe I would no longer get the Dodgers and Lakers channels

I still have cable, but have a Nvidia Shield set up with Kodi and a few iptv players. All the major sports packages in HD. IPTV subscription about $10 a month. Customized channel list (don't care about French Food Network, etc.). Bet a lot of soccer so worth it for me. Just about all the major Euro leagues are on cable/streaming now, but with iptv I'm not restricted to network choice. 99.5% issue free, started beginning of NFL season. Nothing but pleased so far.

Internet Protocol Television. Basically streaming live tv. Little more to it than that. Plenty of info on the net, just google. Reddit threads aplenty. Don't have to be a computer genius, but helps if you're not a complete idiot

I heard Hulu live limits and only allows you to have your Hulu tv subscription only linked to one tv.

Many IPTVs even include locals now. Can't beat what you get and the price. Also, for pro sports, use reddit. Great streams for basically all pro sports, only issue is that college is lacking a bit.

I've used all the services for streaming TV. I have to say Youtube TV had the best interface/normal viewing. FuboTV is a sports focused TV Service thats amazing. If you want the best comprimise of both regular tv and Sports trying Sony's PS Vue TV service it has redzone for next year.

The real problem with these services is most people still have to use their cable co for internet. Now without Net Nuetrality my Cable CO has started charging $1 per gb in 10GB min Blocks after you use 100GB. If your a typical user who also uses your home net for Netflix, youtube etc then 100GB Flies by. Soon your $60 net is $150 a month. Just to get $40-55 Streamin TV.

The a-hole cable companys got smart and figured out how to screw you into the being ripped off one way or another.

dude most streaming sites are 25 bux a month with all pay per view, mlb, netflix shows and movies, anything on redbox, plus all sports season packages. even getting hulu and netflx is not a deal compared to a streaming site. and i get 3 firestick codes with 1 subscription of 30 bux.

I've never heard of this. I've always been confused by firestick, roku, koki whatever the hell it's called. The lady pays for cable and likes it but this would save us a ton.

    I'm showing 20 a month for nitro

In Canada these cable companies are nasty...they have monopoly. If you tell them you don't want the cable, the cheapest internet option is at around $99.99 plus tax and thast with bandwith limit so takes out streaming options. If youw ant unlimited internet, its $149.99.

However, if you get basic cable package and unlimited internet, you could get package deal for under 150 including tax.

They have similar monopoly with cell phone services too. The government sleeps with these companies and don't let outside company to come in to stir up competition.

I was visiting family in europe and what they pay for phone/internet is dirt cheap. You could get cell phone plan with no contract that includes unlimited data country wide for $20 and the internet is so fast that you can tethear it to your laptop and use it from any corner of the country.
