    keys to an all-nighter

    ive done a lot of research on this. i have it down pretty good. im 40 now so its tough and they suck but you can do some things to make it not so bad

    1. eat- you wont want to eat at all. who makes a sandwich at 4am? but you have to. i learned this by watching a youtube video on navy seals. they sleep deprive them 60+ hours but they feed them 4,000 calories a day. it helps a lot for some reason

    2.hydrate-always stay hydrated but more importantly in this situation

    3. watch tv. dont spend all your time sitting up at the computer or playing video games ect. take time to lay down and watch a movie. if you dont you will get tight and worn out

    4. watch the coffee-yes it helps thru the night but when the sun comes up its not really going to do anything going into the next day. it could make you feel worse if you over-do it

    5. eat again- now its noon the next day and you feel like crap. you have no appetite at all and no desire to go eat. but you have to. something with protein and fat is huge.

    thats all i can think of. pretty simple

    im 40 now any drugs would be great at first and then i would hit the wall. and these things ive listed, if you were on something you would never take the time to do them. you would be feeling too good and would go 24 hours with no food/water. that would make the comedown terrible

    Adderall always makes it pretty easy. Modafinil comes with some great reviews, but I haven’t tried it; a bit more expensive

    but after stating up 40-60hrs plus.. the day after you sleep is going to suck no matter which way you look at it

    Sure you can do more blow or adderall, but than whats next??

    Pulling all nighters at or after 40 is insane.

    I never thought my body would react the way it does... but I guess it's a part of life?

    Caffeine doesn't work like it use to... and my brain basically flatlines...

    yes its tough. thing is in the dawn hours you get a little burst of energy and start to do things and its fun. time goes by and you havent eaten since the night before and then it gets to 10am and you start to feel shity. who wants to eat then? nobody

    you have to be disciplined and eat every 3-4 hours. i just had a steak sandiwch and chips. didnt want it. hated to take time away from madden 19 to make it. but it will help a lot

    yes im doing something. i spent 7 years binge drinking but i dont want to do that anymore its miserable. only thing i need to clean up is the over sleeping. i slept until 5pm yesterday thats why im doing this. got to get things in order now

    After 27 I couldn't do all nighters any more. I stopped trying. Every time I think i want to try i tell myself "You aren't 21 anymore"

    it's amazing how horrible you feel at 3 or 4 am.

    basically as mentioned, stimulants........... i might add something like pushups to boost metabolism or even something with light therapy (tricks your mind to think it's still day)

    i have a problem with not wanting to do anything physical till much later in day (mental tasks are fine). so i may start doing the pushups early in the morning to boost the metabolism or energy level

    i'm now north of 50. and it is amazing how things that were simple in your 20's are really hard now. like studying past midnight (i took an industry exam recently)

    Unless you’re studying for an exam or finishing a paper that’s due the next day what’s the point?

    Party hard and when you get tired, go to sleep.

    Why does anyone need to do all nighters anyways? The only time I do it is to gamble but then I sleep for half the next day.
