    Electric scooters.. Catching on..

    Great concept... Very profitable...

Here in LA we have two companies called LIME and BIRD..

Catching on like wild fire.. Deal is you down load the app, it's 15 cents a minute to operate.. It's all GPS related and you just grab one and ride it and drop it off.. Leave it where you go..

Everyone is riding these now here in So Cal...

If you guys can invest do it.. If I had the drive and balls to crank it up myself it I'd take it college campus's all over America. Untapped market still... I don't think Law enforcement has caught on with DUI's either on this little rides.. Just saying...

Just sharing the newest big hit catching on here in America.. Coming to you soon..

This all I see now around town, 100's of them maybe 1000's now.. No lie.. It's huge... Great idea!!!!

These little electric scooters move and they are fun to cruise.. They are left all over town and charged every night.. You just GPS the nearest one to you hop on and cruise.. They zip like 20 miles an hour or more as well...

Pump tires up hard as a rock just like a bicycle as it makes the motor work less for top speed performance.....

Does the company have to find/collect/charge all these things daily?

Plus you have to bring your own helmet to be legal. That's painful enough even with your own bicycle you can leave the helmet locked to. But having to carry it around?

Might work in contained areas like Venice Beach, and the motors wont start outside the perimeter, but this looks a bigger logistical problem than the shared bicycle schemes to me.

That's not a bad idea. Can anyone just go find them and charge them to be paid?

But 2 billion valuation... sounds about as realistic as Bitcoin hitting 100k soon.

Bike sharing services going broke at a rapid rate already. And this one sounds more problematic than those.

You can sign up and it's all through the app.

I won't invest. There are already problems in some cities with scooters being left out on sidewalks or building entrances. Permits are now required (that was SF).

Probably could get very hot in big cities but there could be a novelty that wears off. It's hard to tell as it could be convenient in those crowded cities.

    Probably good for students.

    I know.

That beefy one you have goes pretty fast too, but the gas one's are so loud and fast.

I don't think the hemi will be as easy to park and just toss aside when you get you where you want, like the scooter.

Some of them for sure. They are so loud and you can here that Doppler effect as the approach.

Oh they're hated here too.. People leave them on sidewalks everywhere, in front of houses, people ride them on sidewalks and that can get dicey.. Narrow streets they slow down traffic, etc....

Still you see people riding them everywhere now, people are using them big time here in on the West coast...

You pay via credit card on your smart phone with the company app, you locate one closest to you via GPS.. When done you leave it any where in the city.. Company vans come and charge them back up at night.. In the morning they are all charged again and spread across the city..

Nobody steals them because they have GPS and are self locked when not in use..
