    Forget Rodney King, OJ, whatever -- this is the most embarrassing incident in LAPD history. The guy pulled a switcheroo and escaped on foot. There was barely ever a cop car in the same frame as the helicopter shot. Could be a terrorist with a suicide bomb for all they know, and they just let him walk.
