In school anti drugs/sex classes they always told us acid would cause recurring trips. Teacher warned you might be on your wedding day and suddenly turn into a freaked out tripper without warning.

How are they scare tactics you can google people's experiences and post users. I honestly cant see why anyone would want to take something where it makes them delusional. I dont see the benefit of taking a drug that makes them see things that arnt real.

Well the main scare tactic we were told was the one about flashbacks. I assume that was the same the world over.

I know 15 or 20 kids who tried acid in the late 70s. Never heard of anyone having a flashback or anything else afterward.

Im sure youre right. Im sure those are possible long term effects, definitely not all people who use it. The percentage more than likely low. Guess growing up nobody I personally knew did it, I know there had to be people doing it in high school though as Id hear the word acid come up sometimes, I just never had an interest personally, I was more of a weed guy.

That list of stuff acid can cause was probably pretty similar to what we were told weed would do to us too actually!

I wasn't interested in weed, acid or drugs in general at school but one guy's big brother was into the trips and so he suddenly knew where to buy them and for maybe 2 or 3 months it spread pretty wide across our school. I eventually succumbed to peer group pressure and tried it too. It was a lot of fun in a group of stupid 15 year olds actually.

The dealer got busted and I never heard of it or saw it again.

I kind of think the flashback thing was bull from the start. And the hysterical way they claimed all these terrible things would happen just left me not taking anything they said about it very seriously at that age.

Mushrooms are definitely safer and more fun. LSD can make an unstable person go completely bonkers and can even make a laid back person go temporarily nuts. I've heard stories of people thinking that they morphed into an orange(fruit) and they were afraid someone was going to squash them lol.

Shrooms = more natural feeling. LSD feels more mechanical and wears your mind out more. So i've been told anyway...

I thought the whole point of taking acid was to hallucinate? I have only taken it once and I definitely saw some stuff that wasn't there. I actually remember every last detail of that day lol. There was a point when I was in the shower and my entire body turned into scales. Like the skin of a reptile. crazy drug man
