    Visiting Dallas

I am coming over from Australia next February and would like to go to one other place.
I was thinking Dallas? Any thoughts? Are there better cities in Texas to visit?

I met some Australian chicks who were visiting Vegas that said they were also planning on going to Dallas. What's the curiosity for Dallas over there in Australia? Does Dallas the tv drama get a lot of play over there still? Not really a tourist destination kind of city.

I guess I've always heard Houston is not a good city to visit. Would like to go to Texas and also enjoy catching some NBA, NHL games so Dallas it is. I suppose San Antonio is another option.

it's like going to a mall of strip clubs. I forgot the name of the street we went, but it was just strip clubs everywhere.
Girls are drop dead gorgeous, nice hard bodies, lap dances and alcohol is way cheaper compared to other cities. And I've been to quite a few strip clubs during my time in the military.

Used to live in Dallas. Women are plentiful and very friendly. Go see where JFK was shot. Buy some cowboy boots.

Hated Dallas myself. I'd suggest San Antonio, but those are the two I spent the most time in. Someone else will have better advice.

Why the hate on my city Jake??????????

Texans don't like Austin. It is the SF of the south...liberal, hippie, and too fukking gay for real Texans

Depends on how you like to spend your time.

I would visit central Texas if I were coming just to visit. New Braunsfels, Austin, San Antonio, San Marcos are all within 30 mins of each other. Hill country has a lot more to offer than Dallas.
