A supposed witch doctor accused of caught trying to bury evil charms under the homes of his rivals was slashed with sticks and paraded naked around his village in a wheelbarrow.

Suspect Gabon Iyiaka was seized by locals in his Ehime Mbano community, in Imo State, in southern Nigeria, where they dished out a bit of local justice.

Instead of handing him over to the police, Iyiaka was stripped naked, thrashed with tree branches and paraded around the village in a wheelbarrow.
