Almost 40 now and grew up living a very "normal" happy childhood. We were on the more "poor" (almost mid scale) side financially speaking because we had 1 provider my father who slaved at a factory and worked in excess so my mom could stay home with the kids.And he provided enough to live on in the most humble terms. I grew up without prejudice (being white myself) sure a few jokes here and there and innocent stuff but no hatred ever in the heart. I had friends from all walks of life my neighborhood was like a dividing line so I went to school with some well off kids, more mid cut, and the low end.

Don't get me wrong I've seen and heard prejudice just not on a high level I suppose of "true hatred". Guess I'm just lucky I've never encountered this realm on such an extreme degree where people are trying to go at each other's throats based on color , religion, sex orientation or whatever. I grew up and currently reside in Midwest , And lived in Los Angeles for a few years and it was same if you wanna go geographically from what I've observed , aside from travels throughout US in major cities all the same.

Like I said there is no hate here among my fellow "common man" and I would say roughly a third of my (friends, associates, acquaintances) I know and love or see somewhat regular are people of color or gay whatever.

Is it just me or has the whole race division thing been drummed to death by the gov controlled media or do you think or believe it's real? Guess in a nutshell here's best way to describe the media irony from my perspective. While in LA I first worked in a restaurant which had was small and had a crew of maybe a dozen tops! Half were white, 1 Mexican cook, couple Mexican prep guys, 2 Armenian del drivers, with Korean owners lol.....And we got along great!!! And at times even partied like family during special events.

I eventually moved up while out there working for a big insurance Corp. I started in mailroom with another southern white boy from Ark , a brutha from Gardenia CA, and Philippine guy haha. We all got along like brothers! Eventually I got a cubicle and started doing more desk type shit, still though almost half my friends there were black and everyone was fine.

Hard to say it's just in personal DNA type thing when everyone I encounter for most part seems to be "somewhat ok" or we get along great. But it's never been about race , religion, personal differences etc?? Idk hard as I may seem on here which is very real and same in person...Guess I just relate too well and I'm too real. Grew up in South Florida and had similar circumstances. Our neighborhood was diverse to say the least and we knew nothing of this crap going around today. The common denominator was all our parents worked and was mostly blue collar. My Dad was a Sheriff Deputy and my Mom stayed at home.
In my group of childhood friends was Three whites, two blacks, One Puerto Rican, One Cuban and one kid who was from Hawaii, but from Japanese decent. We all played youth sports together, Rode bikes and hung out at the Ball field like we owned it. Whenever the City had an event going on like adult softball game we would resort to a game of street football. One thing was common on my block; all the parents knew and liked each-other. So, if you were at another kids house and you misbehaved you got the punishment of that parents choosing or how they administered punishment.
One day at a friends house during Christmas break we got bored (The eight of us) and a friendly challenge of who could throw a rock furthest started. I was challenged by another friend, he throws rock and the challenge was official. I got up and my buddies Mom yells out from living room window "don't throw rocks boy's" I couldn't let the challenge go and before i threw it my buddies Mom came out of the house had me on ground and spanked me with a spatula. This buddy was a black kid and went on to play at Boston College and then NFL. I remember crying on ground with those little kid dry heaves. My buddies Mom sent him out with a handful of ritz crackers and grape Kool-aid and a warning to stop crying or i'll get another. As i ate the crackers and drank the juice i remember my buddy saying to me: "Momma hits hard, don't she?" When i got home my Mom was already notified and i got a one-day in the house punishment..........In those days during no school period it was a death penalty. I remember white parents using corporal punishment on black, Latin etc. And vice-a-versa.
Bottom-line we didn't divide like people do today.
What eventually ruins that neighborhood and it's cohesiveness was illegal immigrants from Haiti and Jamaica. These groups had no intention on becoming Americans and getting along.

People look at this as a race issue when in fact it's nothing but economics. Black Lives Matter is the black version of the KKK. Both groups are represented by the poor, urban n the former versus rural in the latter, but poor nonetheless. Education is lacking in both cases and the moral fabric of each group is being eroded by the effects of poverty, crime and an increasing dependence on government subsidies.

It's easy to see color but economics is the root of the issue and the culture that manifests because of it.

well, back in my 2nd grade class, we had an all out race war with the mescins in corpus christi....

the leader of the mescins, named "Ramone" was about 13-14 years old (due to constantly failing and being a half retard), was about a foot taller than every othe student in the whole f'n school, and he had a wooden leg that had several straps on it, that went up to secure the wooden leg to his thigh....

at the big "rumble", a pack of white second graders held him down while a fat red headed kid and I unbuckled the straps and removed the leg.... there were about 8 other fights going on at the same time (all on the playground of our elementary school, I should add).

Once we took the leg off, we held it in the air and ran off, and all the white kids on the playground quit fighting and followed us, cheering wildly as we had won the rumble.... Ramone was hopping after us on one leg, and several mescins and teachers were now following after the pack of 100 or so white second graders following us.... (the playground was like 20 acres of an open area field, and was huge, so the celebration and chase took a while.....)

Yep black tar heroin and meth are the 2 most life destroying drugs in America today. Crack is bad as well... Cocaine and meth you can over come and survive from a little easier then the heroin. Meth and Crack rot your teeth out too..

Trump wants to fight drug trafficing and I think that's a great idea.. Hard drugs lead to death and crime, absolutely ruins young lives... Can also take decades off your life in a blink of eye once hooked and then by the time you go clean.. Your left wondering what happen and how would my life be different if I never touched it...
