If work isn't reliable, then Id absolutely advise against buying a used one with your cash

Not only do you assume maintenace which is always an unknown with used, but you also lose cash, which in times of need is everything

If you're making payments on a car and lose your job, you can call and talk to them, there is usually hardship solutions for a few months

Worst comes to worst, tell them to come get their car, but you still have your cash

Well, for a commuter car...probably. When you buy high-end, it's usually some rich guys car that barely drove it and then traded it in for the newer model two years later.

A 3 year old car with 30,000 miles will be half price. And buy from a dealer so that all warranties are transferable.

    Only jerkoffs buy new cars.

Fun Fact: Those came in rear wheel drive with an optional 220 bhp V8.

Could have some ludicrous driving one of those in the snow.

I'm just saying... 70% of the world aren't car experts. They think they are but they aren't.

Tell me something... why would you sell a used car if there's nothing wrong with it?

Every Honda I have ever owned for commuting purposes has pushed far beyond 250k with basic repairs timing belt, alternator, breaks, starter maybe cv axle I know how to repair....its just this used civic under 30k miles around 13-14 k or so new Toyota for 18 or so I mean I'd rather have a new car starting at 0 and get warranties and free oil changes 💡 There is my line of thinking....I believe I can't drop a down payment with the 0 interest offer although I can always make a large payment to principal when I get my first payment
