    I have no cheese in the house and it's late at night and I hear it in the attic. I need to get my sleep because I have a big day tomorrow ahead of me doing a survey around the town

    Get a sticky trap and put peanut butter on it. Don't do this until you hear where it is rustling in the room, so you can place the trap in that area. It will normally run right for the food within 30 minutes.
