    Wireless router help

Ive been using a cheap AC router for the past 6 months. Terrible range, terrible speeds... I need a new router now, so sick of this thing. Basically have to reboot nightly, and dont even use wifi on my phone at home because the LTE is way faster

Im not fcking around this time, i want the best of the best. Never again buying $100 POS router that gives me migraines everyday.

So many choices out there, so many bs reviews. Dont want "bargin" or "value" type routers. Looking for top of the line only. Help me out boys

What was the router you had? Can't go wrong with a higher end linksys that is now Cisco. LTE being faster has nothing to do with your current WiFi unless your client device was connecting on the 2.4 b/g frequency which can give you slow speeds.

How is the wired connection speed? You want a wireless router that is capable of 802.11an that can get you speeds of 150mb.

For the home there is no need for 802.11ac as some older client devices won't even connect to it.

Try bonding your "A" channel to 40Mhz and you can get 300Mbps high throughput to your device. As long as your encryption type is WPA2/AES.

I am running 802.11ac with 80Mhz bonding getting 1.2 Gbps

    I use a Netgear-AX1750 Wi-Fi router

    http://www.amazon.com/NETGEAR-AC1750...ireless+ac1750

and an Amped Wireless High Power Touch Screen AC1750 Wi-Fi 12,000 sq. ft. range extender, that hits through concrete walls like hot knife through butter

    http://www.amazon.com/dp/B015G2JWKA?psc=1

a buddy of mine lives across the street from me and I can walk to his house with my tablet and still use my Wi-Fi signal at his place

Thanks but i don't want to use an extender. I'd rather just pay like $500 for a beast router that has the range to eliminate the need for extender and any hard wire connections

I pay for 300mps but am only getting about 50 (on good days) with crap/spotty signal strength. Currently using this pos netgear http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B008HO9DIG/ref=mp_s_a_1_29?qid=1457562473&sr=1-29&refinements=p_n_feature_keywords_three_b rowse-bin%3A8514071011&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65.
