    Heartburn sufferers may be overmedicating!

    Consumer Reports suggests alternatives. http://www.consumerreports.org/drugs...TKEY=NS0N01602

All the article says is that if you're the type of guy who gets heartburn after eating spicy foods, then you don't need a Nexium, just eat a Tums. When you're like me, and you get indigestion from eating a carrot, then Nexium is probably for you.

If you always produce too much acid in your stomach then a PPI is appropriate. If it's not chronic then they are unnecessary

The old lady had crazy diagnosed "heartburn" for over a year; nothing worked. Eventually her eyes turned yellow and it ended up being her gallbladder.

Rantadine worked for me. Less harmful than PPis which actually made things worse
Wouldnt worry about heartburn, by the time we get old there will be advancements like this
