I saw that. It was pretty good. It probably would have been better if the guy from the Sopranos didn't die in real life during the middle of it. Talk about inconsiderate of him.

I'll agree w/ OP. Full respect to Bobby D. But the truth is that his career needs to be broken down into 2 segments:

    1) As a young actor, Bobby D was a boss. So many awesome roles. GF2, Taxi Driver, gained 60 lbs to play a fat Jake LaMotta in Raging Bull. Goodfellas, Casino.

    2) As an aging actor, a clown who was pulling checks. Has been in so many garbage movies.

Name the last decent movie he was in. Might be "Heat".

I started watching Mad Max the other night, and turned it off within five minutes. Pass.

Out of the others, I've only seen Creed. It was pretty good.

Al Pacino's been in a lot of terrible movies lately as well JJ.

Guys are old and don't care about a quality script anymore.

He's aged so maybe dont want to do serious roles anymore, light hearted roles Im sure are alot easier to perform and they are less critiqued, he's done enough serious roles to last a lifetime, he's old now, get the money like an old NBA vet who's collecting checks before they retire.

He was great in Cape Fear. A stretch of roles he played real early in his career
had style. The Roberto Duran thing has potential. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1781827/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_2

Midnight Run. He can still do comedy with the right script.
Think his days of action/drama are behind him.

Unfortunately, both Pacino and Dinero after years of pumping out classic after classic have fallen apart. Not only are their new movies awful, the acting is too.

HUGE Deniro fan here! But hey is what it is and remember the good times mostly in 70'a when he was younger and at his peak. Sure he made a few classics later on (Goodfellas, Casino even Midnight Run). But seriously he's like 75 now what do you want? More rehash Scorcese films of him playing badasses or wiseguys? Let him have his fun he gave us so many epic movies but those days are over.

It was honestly over years ago with that Billy Crystal movie, and most certainly done with Meet the parents! If you did not realize this at least a decade ago why does it bother you now? Just do what I do pop in the good shit God2, Taxi, Raging, Deer Hunter, Casino, Goodfellas, Heat, Midnight Run remember the good times. That's 8 all time epic greats which is probably 5 or 6 more than most actors get in a career!

Another forgotten role is him with Mickey Roarke in Angel Heart around '88 or so. Great flick and Mickey was another who made so many great movies in 80's but never achieved commercial success. Dude is a boss though and nice to see his revival in recent years.

I've moved on much as I love Pacino, Deniro, Nicholson, McQueen, Eastwood,Caan etc and much their era. There was a great group that came out in late 80's into the mid 90's with likes of DiCaprio , Wahlberg, Damon, Bale, Phoenix, Norton, Penn, Slater Pitt etc......where's the next group??? Here we are 20+ years later and most those guys I mentioned who are now in 40's or 50's even still making best movies? Step up young crew!!
