    I got a buddy who is six times uglier than JJ (fat and bald). Yet he has a hot wife 15 yrs younger than him. Helps that he's worth about $10M.

    It's more social status than it is security. Even the most solid chick out there is concerned with her social status. If a good looking guy that makes about 1/4 as much comes into her life, there's gonna be some drama.
