Got to watch for these, some play on the heart to. They will send checks that will clear at your bank, then two weeks later the bank finds out it's fraudulent and the burden will be stuck on the victim, then it's probably a whirl wind of mess to prove your not involved in the scam.
One tried to get me a while back on craigslist, said he was a traveling business man, that needed someone with transportation in the area. He said he needed an assistant for a few hours a week. The first " job " was taking this 3000 dollar check, to buy things for the orphanage and take my weekly advance, the check looked so legit, has security lock on back and all ... All seemed a little to good to be true for 5-600 cash weekly, I looked into it and what I wrote in first paragraph is what I found out...
