Early Bobby Wave's running back footage..... explains alot......
Chimp looked into ol wussy wave's illustrious running back career (you know, the one Waves continuously refers to about Waves in the third person, etc....) to see if there were any clues as to why in the hell Waves cannot seem to grasp simple communication with other people.......

as if that wasn't bad enough, Wwaves' subsequent tryout for the local swimteam didn't fare much better:
Sadly, young Waves might have never entered the pool that fateful date (obviously, he was revived, as he's still here..... well, at least, "half here" after having been declared brain dead but still alive after the pool debacle), if his soccer tryout hadn't gone so woefully wrong:
