    Big Pharma is a SCAM

Sky is blue, grass is green, yada yada yada...

I know, preaching to the choir.

I've taken Fioricet for about 10 years, for migraines. It's formulation contained 325mg of Tylenol, along with Caffeine and Butalbital. It's by far the best headache medicine I've ever taken but that's besides the point.

Anyways, for the last 10 years, I've paid $5 copay. That's it.

Well, I find out yesterday my prescription with refills is no longer valid because it's no longer on the market. Turns out, they lowered the dose of Tylenol from 325mg to 300mg. They did not change the dosage on the caffeine or butalbital.

Guess how much I get to pay today?

$60! Sixty God Dammned Fukking Dollars.

Unbelievable racket these sons of bitches have going on. It's no longer generic because they changed the dose of an OTC medication, lowering it. It's now also controlled, which was the entire point of doing it. It has to do with the Butalbital to Tylenol ratio.

I can now by it online from a US pharmacy cheaper than I can get it with insurance by going to my doctor and getting a legit prescription. I can also get 180 at a time online.

All the DEA is doing is driving people out of the doctors offices and onto the internet or street to find alternatives. It's unreal. DEA and Big Pharma can suck Krakens testicles.

Depends what you're looking for. If you're looking for anything sched 2 which is the oxy, vicodin etc... It's almost exclusively email vendors only but a few of them are damn reliable. Most of it comes out of San Ysidro, CA.

If all you want is Fioricet for headaches, which is a sched 4, there are plenty of good websites that link up to US Pharmacies.

One of the best overall sites is ttm2u.com, just gotta register first and wait for them to activate your account before you can take a peek.

Have you tried Esgic, Fiorinal or Phrenellin? They look pretty similar to what you were taking.

I try not to stick up for anything or be against anything across the board. Big pharm and the medical field have a lot of moving parts, some good some bad and some down right crooked.

The medical field does a lot right. I think 95% of dr's are very good people and do their best in all facets of care, including knowing the price of different equipment and medications and then use the cheapest that will work the best. Seen it thousands of times. Medicine is now almost exclusively evidence based practice which is great for patients, no more "gut feeling" or pseudo science or doing something because it's always been done that way. It all benefits patients.

Big pharm I can't say as much good about because ultimately, they're about the bottom dollar. They're ran by mega corps and CEO's that care about $$$ whereas the medical field is ran by Dr's IMO genuinely care about people and their individualized circumstances. The two meet and have to mingle out of necessity.

Fiorinal yes, and it works just fine. I will ask my dr to switch me to that. I think it just replaces APAP with ASA. Thanks for the reminder.

I've never heard of Phrenellin but I'll look into it

Edit: Esgic yes as well but I think that's the same as Fioricet. I think it had the 325mg APAP in it and they have reformulated it all down to 300mg. But I will double check on that one.

Funny you mentioned ttm2u, I registered on Monday but haven't received anything back. How long did it take for you?

Also, I tried 3 browers and I can't get on their website. I was able to access it on my mobile.

Revamp your diet. Cut out the crap. Eat more fruits and vegetables, less meat and dairy. Incorporate whole foods, eliminated processed ones.

Sounds easy enough, but takes a lot of commitment to execute.

You'd be surprised how basic changes to what goes into your body can alleviate a variety of symptoms that the industry would rather just mask with expensive drugs. Actually, migraines should one of the easier ailments to relieve/cure, given good diet, sleep habits, stress management etc.

Read up on holistic solutions. Try meditation. Get a blender.

Yes, you are correct about SCAM!

Achilles ruptured his ACL and has been taking Rimadyl, which works great for him. Rimadyl used to be arthritis medicine for humans, many years ago. Since the patent ran its course and technology passed it by, they sell it for animals now! It costs me $90 a month, what a great money maker for an old ass drug.

I used to get Allegra D, allergy medicine, for $5 copay. It went over the counter and is now $40 a month.

Free Enterprise and Free Markets are a thing of the past. Since the Supreme Court ruled that Corps. are people, the highest bidder wins and the middle class loses!

I registered a while back and if I remember correctly it took a few days. I've heard it's been taking them longer to approve new registers, not sure why. I'll see if I can't find something out.

Make sure you registering for the actual site and not the forum. I've heard the forum can take months to get approved for and then you're still not approved on the actual site. It should be ttm2u.com/shop and ttm2u.com/forum. I just got on and it's working

I've been told by numerous people about making sure my diet is tight, think I'm gonna reign it in a bit. I eat a lot of fruits and veges but also a lot of crap. We use our Vitamix daily but still eat like shit. Thanks for the input.

Ya, I was surprised as well to find out how many of the medicines we take come from India. They supposedly have FDA inspectors do thorough and frequent inspections at the manufactures site but there are some sickening stories the shit found in our medicines and the gov't continues to allow those manufactures to import their shit to us.

I've always thought I was crazy in the head thinking a brand name worked better than generic or one batch was better than the previous but now I don't think I'm so crazy. I don't think there is as much consistency in our meds as we like to think. I have no proof of this just anecdotal fish tales.

How are you and Achilles doing by the way? Wasn't long ago you both had a scare. Hope you are both doing well and on the mend.

Ingredients of your drug? Doesn't caffeine constrict arteries/ blood vessels? (causing migraines)
Tylenol/ aspirin thin the blood? Don't know what that other ingredient does.

Just drink coffee/ tea and take some Tylenol.

Ya but it's the butalbital that works, it's a barbituate muscle relaxant. I could theorize the why the caffeine is in their but I'm not sure. I drink tea in the AM and PM and it doesn't do anything for my headaches and there is plenty of tylenol in my Norco. They're tension headaches and that will turn into migraines if I just leave them alone. I've tried everything from hot/cold packs, yoga, stretching, ibuprofen/aleve, caffeine and tylenol all the way up the "heavy hitter" types of migraine medicines, the one's that cost hundreds of dollars for 6 pills. And nothing relieves my migraines better than Fioricet. Kinda crazy.

I have PAD and high blood pressure. The blood pressure meds gave me horrendous leg cramps at night.
I started taking Magnesium and instantly, no more leg cramps. Magnesium opens arteries. Aspirin thins the blood.

I'm pissed off going to the doctor when my blood pressure runs out and can't be refilled unless I go see them
costing me $125 to take my BP one time and talk to me a few mins. My new BP is making my heart skip beats
and isn't doing the job according to my wrist BP monitor. So I quit taking it. I'm not paying another $125.
(my deductible hasn't been met) It's a racket for sure.

It's so frustrating. Finding a really good doctor in my opinion is one of the absolute best things a person can do. Unfortunately, it's not something we usually do, it's just something that usually happens to the lucky.

You should never run out of BP meds. They should write you 90# per month and give you unlimited refills for the year. What whoreshit.

Just curious, what med did they have you recently that didn't work?

That's great news. Glad to hear it.

My neighbor has a german shepherd and I think he weighs at least 300 pounds of rock solid muscle, he is so big. And STRONG. I love rough housing with him because he actually gets into it and will hold his ground. I have little doubt if that dog ever wants me dead that I would not walk away alive. Fun dog to rough house with.

Sorry to hear this. I've never had a bad neighbor and am not quite sure how I would respond to this. But it could potentially be ugly. Depends if my wife was home to talk me down or not.

The different Doctor's I went to said, "I can not help you, you have too many issues going on." I went to an Internal Medicine Specialist and she really saved my life! She actually cares about people and hugs me and the wife every time we come in for tests.

A caring and intelligent Dr. makes all the difference in the world, but it is very hard to find!

Wasn't on purpose. Guy had left a bucket of old oil/ antifreeze mix beside his house. The cat drank from it. I saw him take his last breath and tried CPR to no avail.

I had another cat die of the same thing before this one. I didn't put the two together until I went around to the neighbors to see if they had rat poison or anti freeze out. As I was going to the neighbor behind me, I saw the bucket. Instead of confronting him I just put a lid on the bucket. The guy is old and feeble. He wasn't responsible. Whoever was helping him work on his car was.

That's what happens when animals run free, they get in trouble.

    And they do

    Doesn't mean I can't or won't bitch about it.

And my main points stand, the DEA has done no good at all vs. the war on prescription drugs and it's cheaper and easier to buy the shit off the internet. Which I will do next time

I have been at war with prescription coverage for going on 3 years now.

I eventually win every medication I want need but it is one hell of a lengthy process
    which is total bulllshit

Believe me, I am looking at all angles to try an find a way to sue these pricks for pain and suffering
    and if I do
    Lookout!
I will run ALL responsible parties through the fukkin ringer!

The DEA is the most fraudulent government/"federal" agency on the "books".
And with that being said most "federal" agencies are fraudulent,so this is definitely saying something!

I could explain the reasoning for this, but it would take around 5k words to do so.
Plus I do not want to be tagged..

I'll just leave it at that.....
