    Computer question

Accidentally deleted my ethernet controller, now internet won't work. Can't install the driver automatically because the internet won't work. "Restore computer to an earlier date" didn't fix the problem. Here are the downloadable drivers for that computer. Which one do I need? I have no idea. http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/...-gx620/drivers

how are you posting right now? phone...tablet?
if so you can create a hotspot for your computer to get online

If you built the pc yourself, you should have a CD that came with the motherboard. There should be a working version of your Ethernet driver there.

Otherwise, you will need to find the driver from a different pc and download it to a usb stick and use that to reinstall the Ethernet driver.

Check if your Dell has a system recovery CD and run that bitch.

report back in here what you see

Hey, I'm an IT person and we have Dells. Recently had this problem and did not have the factory CD. Go to "Network" and start with the 2nd one down. If it does not work, try the third. And then the 4th if need be. Can download file and put on USB drive from another PC and should be okay.
