    I ruptured my achilles and just had surgery two weeks ago. Will my quality of life suffer or things get back to normal?

    If you are young enough, your quality of life should be just fine. If you follow your Dr.'s regimen, you should have a pain free life without restrictions. It is amazing these days how fast people recover from devastating injuries.
