    Saltwater gargle-Doctors generally recommend dissolving half a teaspoon of salt in one cup of water. If the salty taste is too unpleasant for you, try adding a small amount of honey to sweeten the mixture slightly.

    If the throat is sore cuz of a bug, one needs to gargle with hydrogen peroxide. Instantly kills anything crawling around in there. Tastes aweful. Don't swallow. But works instantly. Do this a few times a day will help. Might even give your body an edge to beat or shorten the length one is sick. Costs almost nothing.

    Gargle salt water.

    Get that peroxyl mouth wash from wal-mart..


    Drink green tea with honey...

    smoke a blunt and take a shot of Makers mark whiskey.

    I use that also, but I swallow a little to get the down deep bug. Works good as a mouth wash and a teeth
    whitener too.
