did not make good impression at new job interview

got an email by accident from the guy who hired me calling me an oddball and that i might get filtered out. had to tell him too because worried his boss wouldn't get the email and so wouldn't get called. awkward. hard world out there. just a moving company in manhattan.

    email:
Lets try to use him too. I wanna filter out guys sooner rather than later. I like this guy, however he may seem like an odd ball. Just try him out a few times. Hes got a build, so he should be able to lift heavy.

hard to get pumped up for this job now, but i need exercise and money. i don't really have a build, either, so at least i tricked him a little.

be careful man don't hurt your back. Lift with your legs.

A guy once paid me $100 cash to help move this huge piece of furniture up to his 3rd story apartment...

i could have been killed though if we dropped it. Thing would have totally crushed me if it fell backwards.

I'd say you're safe. Being an oddball loading furniture is different than being one handling someone's money or children. So unless you're humping the furniture or peeping in drawers looking for panties while wrapping up and boxing....you're just muscle for the move so the job is safe.

yeah, i am a little bit of an oddball i guess, and i know this. but they detected it so quickly! lol
they do thorough background check for sex offenders and criminal stuff. i got busted for pot a few times like 10 yrs ago but it didn't show up. i am an oddball bc i have a weird sense of humor and paint paintings but the fact that people can tell so easily and it can get you filtered out is surprising i guess

    xxxxx,

I'm sorry about that. I was sending it to xxxxxx, the team leader, so he has all of your info and so he could contact you.

    Thanks,

Maybe he is just astute to have pigeon holed you so fast.

Doesn't sound like he thinks it's any problem though to me.

I'd prefer to be called a likeable oddball than an unremarkable nobody.

You should reply to him back saying that you got this by mistake. Maybe he'll feel guilty of that retard move he pulled and offer you the job.

Address a letter to the team leader but "accidentally" email the guy that labeled you oddball.

make sure it says something along these lines
"team leader, I just wanted to touch base with you and say thanks for for offering me the job. I'm very excited to get started however, I do have one concern. The guy that interviewed me was coming on to me throughout the interview. I caught him staring at my junk on multiple occasions. At one point, I believe he may have been aroused although it was hard to tell. Anyways, he's an odd duck for sure. Look forward to the job!

Think you did well...physical labor isn't about personality but at least you have one. Rather work with an oddball than a miserable prick. Said he wants to use you, so you will get a shot.

People that interview are occasionally real hand jobs, often they are not much more than a glorified clerk. I remember when the vogue was something they called a "stress interview" they would purposefully ask questions that had no good answer. Naturally the point was to place stress on the individual and watch his response. I ran a couple owner owned businesses and when I interviewed I went out of my way to be friendly, after all one or two of these people would be working for me and I wanted to start off with a positive experience. Who wants an employee remembering his/her interview negatively? I would much rather treat a worker fairly without stress.

    Good luck.

I like him but he MAY SEEM like a bit of an oddball is really not that bad....he's basically just saying you're a good dude but a little quirky or whatever....obviously a movig company shouldn't give a shit as long as you work

The guy is a fukkin moron though sending that to you...what a fool
