Hey pauly. Sorry to hear about that. I have somethjng similar. Herniated disc l5s1 that was putting pressure on nerve root. Numbness in leg, thigh and chronic pain in piriformis and lumbar area. Had surgery but injury happened in 2004 and surgery was in 2007, so nerve damage was permanent because the surgery was too long after injury. End result. Chronic pain for life. Hope there are more good days than bad for you

48 happened through a series of injuries throughout my life starting at 12

    I have an open vertebrae

    I was born this way

Best way to explain it is me trying to bend forward is like trying to bend your finger backwards

so eventually with age shit started breakin......

    Goodluck on finding dr.

I have not met one who gave 2 fukks enough to use his head to figure shit out

    The more complex the problem

the faster the dr. runs away

I use them here and there....mainly for migraines but sometimes just to unwind, not gunna lie

Nothing will happen if you use them responsibly (Moderate doses) and don't start doing them day after day....

Yes they can be addicting and ruin your life but then again so can alcohol, so can gambling, etc

Take responsibility for your actions and do research before you take any kind of substance

    Stay safe

I been taking oxy along with Fentanyl patch for 2 years now for chronic pain.
2 spinal fusions. Last one called a failed fusion. Spine fused but too much nerve damage.
When it's real bad I smoke some nice kush and I get relief.

Opiates can not get them HIGH.........

So if you are getting high on pain killers you are the problem of this epidemic,period........

I have chronic disabling pain and have been taking Vicodin for 12 years. First, if you have chronic pain you are probably smart enough to realize you should not abuse this med because if you do you will find yourself without when you truly need them. I have such a huge reserve because when I needed only one I took only one. Yes when first taking these pills you will get a really nice warm feeling and you can be tempted to over dose. I never did because of the above and also because I do not have an addictive personality. However, to ask if anybody thinks I should do this for a nice high. Well that is completely crazy. Pain pill addiction often leads to heroin addiction because it is cheap. Rethink this my friend.

    opiates make me itchy
plus there is the side effect of constipation
i would rather shit and not itch
i dumped my opiates down the toilet and gutted it out with my second knee surgery
    rugby is hard on knees

    and the FISTlSIZED KNOT of poo that comes out when you FINALLY move your bowels is frequently bloody and painfu;

I love ppl that say things like "Fentanyl is 100 times stronger than Morphine"

And then fail to mention that their dose of Fentanyl is 1/100th of the morphine equivalent

In the ER we typically give 5-10mg IV Morphine for severe pain. In the cath lab our starting dose of Fentanyl is 50-100 micrograms IV

So yes, Fentanyl is usually estimated to be 100x stronger than morphine but you also get 1/100th the dose. It's all the same.

How bad is pure oxycodone for you without the acetaminophen? I know it's addictive but what can it really do your body if you take it alot?

I get prescribed a small amount of 10 milligs of these every now and then for bad headaches and a back issue and don't have any side effects really at all....Maybe a little dehydrated but I'll drink a lot of water when I need to take em

Nothing. I guess in theory, if you were to take a massive amount, it could do liver damage, as the oxy is metabolized by the liver. But in reality, you'd never get anywhere close to that amount because Oxy also causes respiratory depression and you would stop breathing before you hurt your liver with roxxys.

snagged up some hydrocodone and some oxycodone

took 15mg of hydrocodone with water. felt ok. wasnt anything great. that was at 330 now its 545 and im pretty tired but relaxed

also on 2 other meds so it could be lessened. i remember taking hydrocodone a few years ago and i felt better.

maybe since im 225 lbs i should be taking 25mg to get buzzed. but i dont have enough and i dont need a great buzz im just gambling.

only good thing about this is no comedown no hangover. but its not unreal and its expensive

speed is the best. but has a massive comedown. overall there is nothing better than just being healthy
