Any roofers out there ?? Need quick estimate

Need complete tear off (2 layers) of small roof (700 sq foot house) from a professional roofing company. All the plywood is rotten and has mold, basically everything above the ceiling needs to be ripped of and replaced due to moisture and humidity problems in the attic

My son-in-law is in the business. Too little info and too many variables, but if you are talking replacing the entire plywood roof plus new tar paper and quality shingles, you are looking at $17K to $20K for a small house. No, I'm not kidding.

This thread is racist. Mexicans do more than roofing and landscaping, but you went ahead with this thread anyways.

Holy hell! You looking to retire from this poor man?

Taylor, I had my roof replaced from Lowes for less than 4k. They didn't replace my plywood, but did rip off my old roof. You can get interest free financing for a year. (maybe longer if you bitch)

Myself and 3 other guys did my daughters house for less than 2k. We bought a couple of those WM bags from Lowes and threw all the shingles in those.

I read that as "700 sq. ft roof" not house...so you may hafta get exact measurements for the size of the roof....figure $400/sq for ripping 2layers and reshingle....

Lowes charged $288. Plus the moron who measured (with a measuring wheel going around the
outside of the house) over ordered the singles by 9 bundles (3 square). I had a hell of a time
returning them for a refund. Had to call over the manager and even then it was hard.

But this time of year ( rain ) is when everybody is discovering they have leaks...
so supply & demand may drive up the price

plywood included,eh? I got a chit pile of work for you...lol

*this could be an A frame 35x20 (700 sq ft home) with a 40 x 20 (per side=800 x 2=1600sq ft or "16 square) roof and all of a sudden its an 18/12 pitch with 2 layers coming off then the plywood decking comes off...he also said "mold" and "everything above the ceiling"...does that include roof rafters? could be an expensive job, might not be....lotta info left out/many variables.

I see literally hundreds of full-reroof payments(made through insurance so cost is 10% high) and the few thousand people are tossing around is laughable--I know that much---
