Does anyone use Roku or Apple TV?

Is it worth a crap? Is there a subscription or hidden fees?

I use Roku and it works great for Streaming Netfilx, Hulu, Redbox, and Amazon. You basically pay for what you want to watch.

I love it because you don't have to watch 20 mins of commercials each hour or 200 channels of infomercials.

Chromecast or Amazon fire? I know they both somewhat new.

I'm interested in the Amazon one, since I'm a prime member and would like to take advantage of the "prime video"

Just a word to the wise:

I googled the top 25 TV and Movies Streaming on Netflix and Hulu. The one's that caught my interest, I put in my Favorites queue.

My wife and I have watched complete series of shows that we never would have watched or did not know existed.

We got hooked on several series and did a little power watching.

Only used Apple, which works great, and have no idea about Roku.

If you're not directly plugged into your router, you should look into getting Ethernet over Power adapter http://www.amazon.com/Ethernet-over-...net+over+power.
