First of all. How is not adding the actual MUSIC of it not part of being an artist? yes producers are artists.
definition of artist:
a person who works in one of the performing arts, as an actor, musician, or singer; a publicperformer: a mime artist; an artist of the dance.

I would consider a producer a musician. But really it is not too hard to understand how adding guitar or whatever to rap vocals is part of being an artist.

thank you for proving my point for me. yes we are in 2014 and the 90's artists are still in semi-regular rotation on the radio. when it was the 90's you didnt get much play if you were from the 80's. the talent is so great yet watered down now or that all of the 90's artists created classics which was my original point in this thread. 90's best era in hip hop

I never really paid attention to this song as I enjoyed the rest of the album better then the singles he was putting out. Then I read an article where Pusha T was ranting and raving about how great this song was so I gave it another careful listen and realized for some reason I was missing the whole beauty of the song. I would say Kanye has a bunch of better songs but this is top 10 for sure in my book.
