Any Of You Guys Ever Been to Puerto Vallarta?

Booking a trip at the end of may for a 4 day all inclusive trip and looking at hotels. Anyone know of some good ones to stay at? I've noticed most of the hotels say "family friendly" or "great with kids", but I don't want to be getting my drink on having to meander through a crowd of little kids everywhere. I've noticed Puerto Vallarta also only has a handful of "adults only" resorts.

Also heard from people that have been there that some of the resorts that are more family friendly close the bars early, like around 9pm so I'm not going to want to have that. So many damn options out there, hard to pick just one.

I was there on a cruise. Beautiful place but I have no resort recommendations since we were only there for a 12-hour port call.

my little Canadian homo friend, the only Dreams resort where you need to be staying is an Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Science

I think we've decided to stay at Casa Velas. It's $1k each for 4 days, flight, hotel, food, drinks everything included. Not a bad deal.

I'm not trying to be a dick, but why are you going anywhere in Mexico? Your value for the dollar is better spent in central or South America.

I see a lot of shit on groupon for this area.
    Should probably check it out.

After looking at the resort, are you looking to go anywhere outside the resort, or just stay put?

Saw a thing on groupon but it didn't include the flight, so it would be more expensive than my trip when you add that.

Mostly stay at the resort except for atv riding and some zip lining.
