    Anybody here a professional Chef?

    Do you like it?

I used to work at a resturaunt and the cooks were always angry...

but i think knowing how to cook is a good life skill...

not a chef myself....but i have worked at two very popular restaurants locally....one of them was the most booked restuarant in CT....and the other is the sister restaurant of one that won best upscale in CT.....i worked as a runner/expo.....its a crazy business....chefs aree angry....and can be complete dickbags one minute and totally cool another....depending on their stress level....the whole industry is crazy....it can be totally fun one minute and completely aggravating the next......

johnson and wales is a great place if you want to learn to be a chef....they have campuses in Ri, miami, denver, and NC....theres other schools too.....depends what you wanna be....a head chef...sous chef....line cook....line cooks usually start at as dishwashers then work their way up to prep then the line
