Time Warner users having trouble connecting to websites?

Possibly some DNS issues make sites like SBR and ESPN slow to connect or just spin as if they are loading. If you change your DNS settings to OPEN DNS it should fix the issue.

I'm getting 18, have 20 with TW. TW just bought my local cable company, it was between them and Charter, so they offer weird speeds and way too high pricing. I was paying $75 for the 20 alone. I'm getting 18 and cable from ATT for $90.

I work for Charter, even though we don't have them here, and I wish they'd bought my local company instead. I'd get everything free and they offer 30 for $50 without promos, cheaper with them.

I had AT&T for a while and now have Time Warner. Time Warner blows them out of the water. It's not even close. Enjoy your data caps with AT&T as well.

Different for each area.. When I had Insight (our old company that TW bought) I never had outages, the internet never moved slowly, and the bill was $20 cheaper. Since TW came I have an outage once or twice a week, the internet is constantly slower (50% of what I should be getting) and they jacked the bill up. Customer service is incompetent and it took me 5 hours to setup a disconnect because they kept hanging up on me or transferring me across departments.

The data cap I shouldn't even get close to, I think its 150 or 250 GB.

Time Warner might be good in areas it's been established in for awhile, but the constant upgrading/maintenance because this is a new area got old, quick.

I won't be switching back to TW unless Charter or Comcast buys them
