I've been subscribing to DirecTV since August... I've had my audio cut out on ESPN during Monday Night Football several times. Basically it sounds like a CD skipping or someone hitting the mute button off/on for a millisecond. It's really annoying. The tech has been out 3 times. And next week will be the 4th time. It was only happening on my mini-genie unit. Not really on the main genie. But ever since they changed dishes... I'm getting more audio issues than ever.
Trying to figure out the reason for this? I was watching a game on NBA League Pass and the audio cut out once literally every 5 minutes on HD. Just for kicks... I watched the same feed on SD (standard definition) and the audio never cut out. Watched it for a half an hour. Is it possible that DirecTV is overloaded with customers on an HD signal? Like their networks can't handle it? They claim they have 30 million customers and 90% have HD... that's a lot of customers. Seems very odd to me.
Just wondering if you guys are having any issues? Thanks.
