    What are good internet speeds?

Just did that Test My Speed and got these results

    Download 21mb/sec
    Upload 5mb/sec
    Ping 15ms

Not sure how to interpret these.

I'm not a gamer. It doesn't take long to download iTunes songs so I'm not too worried, just curious what these numbers mean and if they're good, average or sucky suck

    That ping rate is phenomenal.

You can game like a mofo with that ping rate.

Actually, all those numbers are phenomenal. You can download full porno's in little time.

Great internet speed for gaming all around.

Thanks for the insight. Only game I've ever played on my computer was Age of Empires and even then, I just did the missions, never did any multiplayer. Now the pornos on the other hand

Fukk you prick. Oklahoma is much less of a wasteland than Los Angeles and that's a fact. Come to OKC Mayan and meet me. I'll take you to Crossfit, a Thunder game and steak house and then we'll fight. My cardio is phenomenal.

Just ran a speed test on mine.

Mind you, we pay for the fastest DSL available in our area.

    Ping: 25 ms
    Download: 5.43 Mbps
    Upload: 0.78 Mbps

it actually a pretty big problem to have with this expensive homes, that sit on big lots...a friend of mine lives in Atherton,CA in a 10mil house and he was using dial up until 2 years ago, because comcast didn't have any cable circuits built near his property.

We're actually really lucky. A lot of the area where we live still only has dial-up or satellite as an option.

We live in the middle of significant acreage, almost everyone out here does. I have neighbors that live on 900 acre spreads. Not like the local cable company is out running lines around here.

when I go to speedtest.net my ping is 30ms and I get 48mbps download and 20mbps upload and thats (FiOs) not DSL)

not sure that site is completely accurate. dslreports.com has been around for YEARS and is probably the most accurate of all. take a look at around they are by far most informative site when it comes to this shit. don't judge book by cover just cause it has "dsl" in the domain name...but then again who really gives a fawk lol

I don't know if area makes a difference but I am on Verizon fios and got this

    Ping: 13ms
    Download: 15.34 mbps
    Upload: 5.45 mbps

Reading from responses I think I have a decent speed with Fios...no reason to go back to fukking Comcast aka thieves.
