    Whats a good thing to go back to school for?

    Got a liberal arts degree and a horrible fukkin job. Not enjoying
    life lately... keep making fukkin parlay bets trying to
    dig my self out of a hole.

    LOL but seriously ... i need some career advice. 32 years old
    with sales experience but not even a good salesman.

    Should i go back to school maybe get trained to work
    on computers?

    Can anybody recommend any ideas or fields of work
    that pay a decent amount with a relatively low stress level?

    Im 24 and had a decent paying job but lost it. Going back to school to study finance and get into investment banking eventually

    28 and have been 9 credit hours (3 classes) from a degree in History for about 2 years now, I want to be a high school teacher then someday a college professor. Finally got the kick in my ass this week to go back and just finish it up. So I'll be graduating in May from Sam Houston State and then on to bigger and better things.

    As far as I'm concerned only when you're in your mid to late 40s is it too late to go back to school. At that point enough of your life has gone by you've missed out on so many of the advantages a college degree gives you. Worst feeling in the world is when I'm sitting around thinking by now I could be teaching at a university, doing the one thing I've always wanted. Instead I let trivial things get in the way and before I know it I'm 5 years behind schedule. You only live once, don't let things get in the way of your goals.

    Make an appointment and go talk to a career counselor at the college or university you are considering attending. You'll get much better advice there.

    I have two degrees and thinking about going back for emergency management. The answer is do something you enjoy provided the field isnt dead.

    Liberal Art degrees are pretty much useless and a complete waste of money. You're better off going a 2 year tech school than getting a liberal arts degree. Bussiness is pretty useless as well as their are so many people with bussiness degrees out their, and even MBA's are overrated unless its from a good school.
