Every commercial has a white guy acting like a couch dwelling Homer Simpson fool pushing the old/stupid product and a helpful articulate black guy pushing the cool new product you are supposed to buy.
I understand you want diversity in your commercials, you want to market your product to everyone but why always clown on 70% of the population of this country and market everything to the 12% of the population? That's awful for business. It's not like this happens a little bit, they do this on practically every commercial.
Here are some good recent examples.
Brinks Home Security has a black couple living in the suburbs and a chubby, middle aged white guy breaks into their house before the alarm goes off. Yeah OK! That's what all these successful suburban black couples are scared of, some fat, bald, middle aged white guy breaking into their house and stealing their shit!
Gerber baby food. 3 young couples have kids and start talking about saving for their kids college. 2 clueless white couples don't have time, haven't thought about it or can't save. The black couple has the happy positive articulate woman educate them on saving for college with the Gerber college savings plan. First of all only 75% of black kids are born out of wedlock but that's not good for business. Yeah all these child bearing black couples are just squirreling money away for their kids college while these white couples practically don't even know what college is LOL.
Insurance is notorious for this. Dumb white person with cut rate insurance, then MR. All State to save the day or State farm or whoever comes to save the day. There is a commercial in the middle of nowhere desert, doesn't look like a car is anywhere within 50 miles but Mr. Silly Suburban white dad real ends a happy smart black guy with his station wagon. The black has a husky white lady as his agent, and the suburban white dad has to call his mom. Yeah, OK!
How about the one where the 30 something white girl is talking to her 30 something white boyfriend. Instead of her talking it's Mr. All state's voice. You said men are better drivers than women, then why did I get a check in the mail. Silence! Yeah ok, women are better drivers than men! Next thing you will tell me that Asian women are better drivers than men because we are all equal at everything!
The cute blonde girl is talking to her sweater wearing afro technical friend about her upcoming date. It's a "french model" A lame white guy with a wig.
Flash mob! Heavy set 40 year old white guy jumps into a dance routine in the airport and makes a fool of himself. The black kid walking by rolls his eyes. Yeah, those silly middle aged white guys always making fools of themselves dancing and singing in public in front of all those well behaved black teens!
If all you did was watch commercials you'd think Harvard, MIT and Columbia were filled with these black commercial geniuses and that white America was a bunch of dumb drooling welfare clowns.
