doesn't suprize me one bit - a ton of Europian players lost interest in NHL and more specifically Bettman's NHL during the lockout year.

Russia is considered to be part of Europe (even though the larger portion is part of asia - hence the Eurasia used at times)

Actually, I think it's going to work out better for Ilya.

He retires from the NHL, and plays in Russia for twice the money he could have made here.

    Guy is smart.

    It wasn't.

I'm choosing to honor a bet I made with Vegas39 that I lost.

Posting only in here until next March.

Yeah I agree on that...I'm just saying that the only loser or losers I should say here are the fans and NHL that drives quality talent away to play elsewhere.

Not really bro. The NHL doesn't have a leg to stand on if it wants to blame Russia for hurting it. The NHL in 1980s fukkin raided the Eastern Bloc countries when it saw fit.

I see no problem if Russia does the same to the NHL.

No. It's considered part of Europe - even though it stretches between 2 continents.

Why is this thread in the saloon? Should be in Players Talk.
