I mean, your fighting the best in the world and he throws his arms down and clowns with you and you fire back and hit him. It's a win, but kind of a win that I wouldn't feel great about. Like say you are going for the home run record and the pitcher serves you up a meatball for the record so that he gets in the record book too.

He doesn't always fight that way. I've seen him do it before, but not against game opponents. He knew Weidman was a legit fighter. Doesn't make sense.
I recall Muhammad Ali doing it and even Sugar Ray Leonard doing it.
I think Leonard did it against either Hagler or Roberto Duran maybe both
He just beat a legend. I don't think he stayed awake last night agonizing over the manner in which he won. Silva has done that many times and never been caught...until now!
No, Anderson is the master of the taunt....he fights a lot with his hands down and always got away with it...this time he didn't....the diaz brothers do the same thing....
Silva has intimidated a lot of fighters with these tactics. The low hands help to defend against takedowns which was the major threat from Weidman. Don't fall for any of the propaganda discrediting the win, this was going to be the toughest opponent of Silva's career, he went overboard in his gamesmanship due to his own insecurities.
